Hey Ho Hey Ho Mice

There is a new challenge starting today at Di’s Digi Challenge and the theme is

2 OR MORE PATTERNED PAPERS

The fabulous prize for one Random Winner is one digi of choice from Di’s Digi Stamps.

I have used the gorgeous image, Hey Ho Hey Ho Mice, available here, on my card.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Copics and used patterned papers from Nitwits and Polkadoodles.  The sentiment is from LOTV and is embossed, and the flowers are from the Ribbon Girl.  I aimed to make the three mice look different, but I’m not sure if the tiny one is too pale..!!

We hope you will join in our challenge and if you use an image from Di’s Digi Stamps, or any CandiBean image, you have the chance to win 2 images from Di’s Digi Stamps in addition to the Random winner prize.

As You Like It Challenge – Favourite – Ribbons or Buttons and Why  (I like to add ribbon to a card, especially one for a girl, as it adds detail and is a good way of attaching a sentiment tag or a charm.    I rarely use buttons as they don’t seem to work for me)   http://asyoulikeitchallenge.blogspot.com/2018/07/favourite-ribbons-or-buttons-and-why.html

Santa’s Flight Plan

I’m trying to keep up with my Christmas cards, although it seems strange to be using winter items in this heat – it reached 37 degrees yesterday afternoon…!!

I used the Paper Shelter image, Flight Plan, which I thought was a good one for one of our grandsons.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and added Aleene’s Glitter Snow to the fur and Santa’s beard.  The die cut snowflake is glittered with Glamour Dust, the small sentiment tags are from LOTV and the gems are from my stash.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and added Stickles Frosty Lace and Crystal, Aleene’s Glitter Snow and Liquid Pearls.  The embossed card was made with a cracked ice embossing folder and the blue DP is from my stash.  The sentiment and die cut snowflake and stars are embossed with silver embossing powder.

Cheesy Mice on the Moon – Window card

There is a new challenge starting today at Di’s Digi Challenge and the theme is

TRY SOMETHING NEW

The fabulous prize for one Random Winner is one digi of choice from Di’s Digi Stamps.

My card uses the adorable digi Cheesy Mice on the Moon – available here.

Cheesy Mice on the Moon - window card

My “something new” is a window card – of a type I haven’t made before.  I wanted to put the image on a piece of fabric so it would be floating in the window, but my voile was too opaque.  Instead I put some glitter fabric over a piece of blue card and stuck this behind a window – cut with a stitched square frame.  I coloured the mice on the moon with Promarkers, fussy cut out the image and added 3 of the stars from the image to the sky.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut around with cloud dies and the flowers are die cut and sprayed with Spray and Sparkle.  The gems are from my stash.

We hope you will join in our challenge and if you use an image from Di’s Digi Stamps, or any CandiBean image, you have the chance to win 2 images from Di’s Digi Stamps in addition to the Random winner prize.
