Christmas Sled

My card uses one of the recent Christmas images from LOTV – Christmas Sled.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and fussy cut around it.  The dots embossed card is bordered with a stitched square frame and the die cut trees are glittered with Glamour Dust.  The stamped sentiment is embossed and the die cut stars are glittered with Stickles Star Dust.

As You Like It Challenge – Santa or No Santa and Why  (I prefer  cute animal images to Santa on my Christmas cards.  Not only do I think Santa is a bit dated but I’m not keen on the colour red (except in small amounts) so I mostly give the old guy a miss. )                                       https://asyoulikeitchallenge.blogspot.com/2019/09/favourite-santa-or-no-santa-why-and.html

Butterfly Wings

This is the first card I’ve made in several weeks, as we’ve been in the south soaking up the sun.  We came back early as there was to be a lot of rain and very strong winds – not what you want when packing up a caravan..!!  (ours stays in a Gardienage all winter)  Here it’s dry and sunny – so perfect for getting all my holiday washing dried.

I’ve used an All Dressed Up image – Butterfly Wings – on this card, which is for the birthday of one of my granddaughters.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and Copics, and added Stickles Star Dust dots for the butterfly trails. The sentiment and leaves are die cut, coloured with Promarkers, and sprayed with Spray and Sparkle.  The flower and sequins are from my stash.

Christmas Mice with Pudding

I never thought I’d be glad to have a thunderstorm.  It rained all day yesterday and again today, and now Its cooler and so much more pleasant, and I’m hoping we might get some strawberries and raspberries in the next day or two.

I have used this image – Christmouse Pudding, from LOTV – so many times I’ve had to call it something different this time..!!  It’s such a fun image and looks good in many colours.  I coloured it with Promarkers and cut around it with a Pearl Rectangle die.  The snowflake and sentiment are die cut, coloured with a Promarker and sprayed with Spray and Sparkle.

Love to Exercise

I love the sun – but at the moment it’s just too hot to go outside.  Our house – like most French houses – is built to stay cool in the summer, but that’s not happening, which isn’t surprising when the temps are in the 40’s.  Even the fan in my craft room is just blowing hot air – I wish we had a swimming pool…!!

I made a birthday card for my daughter using this image from All Dressed Up. I thought she would like it as she is very keen on keeping fit.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and cut around it with an Xcut die.  I enlarged the image to make some extra weights, coloured them with a silver Promarker and curved them.  The paper is from Polkadoodles, the gems are from my stash and the sentiment is die cut and embossed.
