Baby basket

I haven’t made a baby card for a while so I thought I’d give this stamp another airing.   I wanted to make it girly and frilly, so I used different shades of pink and added lace, ribbon and fancy borders.   I had almost finished the card when we heard that one of our nephews had become a father – to a baby boy.   So I guess I’ll be making another baby card very soon – in blue this time!!

???????????????????????????????

What I used –

Image – Balloon basket from LOTV – coloured with Promarkers    Sentiment and small sentiment tags also by LOTV

Paper by Nitwits     White card embossed with a chain mail embossing folder

Dies – Spellbinders decorative oval, Magnolia hearts and flowers border and small hearts from the La La Land Heart border

Lace and ribbon from my stash

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –

  1. This is the most beautiful baby card Alison .The embossing gives it a feeling of comfort and the border and edge of the die cut make it really decorative . It is a lovely image and you have used just the right shades of pink to set it off well.
Whoever receives this card will treasure it I’m sure . jenny
