Baby it’s cold outside

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and that none of you were badly affected by the storms.  It must have been a very miserable Christmas for a lot of families in the UK, and now it seems there is more bad weather to come.  Here in France we are waiting for our winter to arrive – last year it was a very long cold one.

Baby it's cold outside

Blue and brown is a colour scheme I like very much – it’s a good combination for a card for a man, but this time I have put a female in with the mix.

The image is Baby it’s Cold Outside, from the Time for Tea collection, and I got the stamp just before Christmas, with part of a Bunny Zoe voucher I won.  I coloured the girl with promarkers, in shades of blue and brown, and used Stickles diamond for the fur effect on her hat and boots.    One of the papers is a freebie from Bearly Mine and the other is by Raspberry Road.  The snowflake, tree and lamp are Marianne dies and the border is by Memory Box.  I glittered the snowflake, tree and snowy border with Stickles and glamour dust, for a frosty feel.  I used chunky white frantage on the lamp and added diamond Stickles to the “glass”.  The ribbon and gems – coloured with promarkers – are from my stash.  The sentiment – Warm winter wishes – is a bonus on Alannah by Kathryne at Stampart, but  “winter” isn’t clear in this photo.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –
