Balloon basket

This morning we took down the Christmas decorations – so it feels as if Christmas is over for another year.

This is the first chance I have had to make a baby card using one of my new LOTV stamps.  I find it difficult to find the right pink ink pad, they are either too pale – and don’t show up well – or they are too bright.

Does anyone have any suggestions about a pink ink pad that they have found works well???

What I used –

Image – Balloon basket by LOTV – coloured with promarkers

Papers from my stash with one embossed with Cuttlebug divine swirl  – new stash

Ribbon, twine, heart button and gems from my stash

Sentiment  – LOTV – inked with a combination of Spun sugar DI and Versa craft cherry pink

  1. Lovely image and coloured so well .The star background combines well with the stars on the image and the shade of pink really suits the baby image .| Ialso like the way you have embossed the lower backing paper .

  2. Another gorgeous card, Alison! Great co-ordination of your stars and swirls, and lovely colouring.

I often use a Versacube ‘Petal Pink’ ink pad, if that helps.

Thank you for entering our challenge at Crafty Little Fairies, and good luck in the draw. We would also love you to join us again in future challenges.
