The Limousin, where we live in France, is always very green, which isn’t surprising given the amount of rain we have. However we quite often have lovely dry Autumn weather at this time of year but it hasn’t stopped raining for days now. It was so windy overnight that our tomato supports and cover have blow over – so I guess we’ve had the last of our tomatoes this year.
I have always been fond of teddy bears, as will be obvious from my cards, and this time I have used Barclay with envelope, from Pink Gem Designs. He is another cute little guy, whom I coloured with promarkers and glittered the fur on his hat with Stickles frosted lace. Two of the papers are Raspberry Road and one is from my stash. I embossed the square behind Barclay with a snow effect embossing folder – although the embossing isn’t clear on the picture – and put it inside a Spellbinders Fleur de Lys square. I cut around Barclay, stuck him on the embossed square and added some Memory Box stars. I cut a Memory Box frostyville border, trimmed it to give it a different shape and added glamour dust. The large snowflake is a Joy Craft die which has also been glittered with glamour dust. The sentiment is computer generated, distressed around the edges, and stuck onto a small envelope, which I then pegged to the top of the card. The ribbon and the gems are from my stash.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –
