I’ve done quite a bit of painting while we have been having this heat wave – as it’s too hot to go outside except for a short while. But I’m beginning to get sick of the sight of a paint brush – and I don’t mean the fine art type. Paint is very expensive in France, so we brought back quite a bit from the UK at the beginning of June – even cheaper with our OAP discount from a particular store. We’ve been in France for over eight years – and with a wood burner the first part of the house was desperately in need of freshening up. Now we need to find some wall paper for the lounge – and it’ll be my job to hang it.
So – some light relief in the form of card making – and for a change I’ve made a male card. I used My Beach Boy digi image – from Tiddly Inks – and I coloured it with Promarkers and Copics. I started off with all sorts of ideas for embellishments – but after colouring the image I decided I wanted it to stand alone as a CAS card. The papers are from my stash and the words are computer generated.
I would like to enter my card into these challenges –
