By the Seaside

I love the summer and I love Di’s mice digis – so I just had to have this new image she has created.  It’s called By the Seaside and I coloured it with Promarkers and Copics.  I had a couple of attempts at colouring it – and included red – but I’m glad I settled on green, yellow and blue as I thought it tied in with the seaside theme better.  I also had several attempts at stamping the sentiment – yellow, then different shades of blue, but eventually did it with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.  The seaweed is a Marianne die, I dabbed several shades of DI on it and added some gems  The twine is from the Ribbon Girl, the starfish charm is from Crafts U Love and the gems are from my stash.
