Call of the Wild

This week Fab’n Funky’s challenge is A Touch of Frost and I made this card as a Guest Designer for this challenge.  The image is Call of the Wild by Reeces Scrap Pieces at Stitchy Bears Digi Outlet.

I love this blue paper from Raspberry Road’s Winter Wonderland and I teemed it with a frostyville border by Memory Box and a snowflake by Joy Crafts.  I coloured the wolf with promarkers, glittered the rock with glamour dust and rubbed a little blue ink over it.   The wolf has a dusting of snow, using chunky white frantage and his eye is a gem from my stash, coloured with a promarker.   In the image the wolf is within a circle and I cut this out from the deboss side of an embossing folder – the name of which I can’t remember and it’s no longer on the website – but it’s either crackle or cracked ice.  I ran a glue pen around the grooves and sprinkled glamour dust onto them.  The snowflake and the moon are glittered with glamour dust and the frosty border has blue children’s glitter on it.  The sentiment tags are from LOTV and the ribbon is from my stash.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –

A Gem of a Challenge – Winter Wonderland

Pattie’s Creations – Christmas Card

  1. I love what you did with this image Alison – it is really beautiful and such great use of the die cuts too – I just love it! You did another great GDT job for us again this week hugs Judith x

  2. A very different card for you Alison but it is really impressive . A real winter wonderland scene .I love the embossing effect and the snowy border adds to the coldness of the scene . Good luck with it .
