Christmas Boy and his Dog

This is the last Wednesday in February so we have a Christmas challenge starting today at Fab’n Funky and our host for this challenge is Ginny.

Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Digi Stamps, with a prize of 7 digis to the winner.

You can see all the details of this challenge, as well as some fantastic inspiration from my very talented Team Mates, over on the Fab’n Funky blog.

Bugaboo Stamps very generously gave the Design Team their choice of images to play with and this is my card using Kidz Christmas Boy and his Dog, available here.

Christmas Boy and his Dog

I made the background using a tree stencil and rubbed a blue ink pad over it onto the white card behind.  I ran my glue pen down some of the branches and added some glitter.  The ground snow is Aleene’s Glitter Snow.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and Copics, glittered the fur and fussy cut around the boy and his dog.  The sentiment is from LOTV, the die cut is a Marianne Fir Branch and the ribbon, gem and pine cone charm are from my stash.

I would like to enter my card into these challenges –

  2. Gorgeous card Alison, love the background, the sweet image and the cute little pine cone charm. Hope you are having a good day, it is quite cold here, very frosty this morning and a few little snow showers but beautiful and sunny.
