When we were in the UK last May we went to see Cinderella at the children’s Saturday morning cinema with our son and granddaughter.  She loved the film – and so did I – so I’ve made this card for her 8th birthday. The image is Gabbie Cinderella, from Faery Ink, and I coloured it with Promarkers and Copics, and glittered her bodice, sleeves and shoe with Stickles Star Dust. The castle is a digi image from Tiddly Inks – coloured with Promarkers, with the path sponged with a grey ink pad.  The papers are from Nitwits, with a stars overlay on the blue paper, and the small stars are embossed with silver embossing powder.  The sentiment is from LOTV  and I embossed it with embossing powder.  The flowers are die cut and the ribbon, gems and star wand charm are from my stash.

I would like to enter my card into these challenges –

Passion for Promarkers – Child’s Birthday

Cute Card Thursday –  Lace or Ribbon

Ribbon Girl Any Card Challenge – Anything Goes

As You Like It Challenge – Favourite Style of Embossing and Why.    I sometimes use embossing folders but my favourite is embossing using embossing powder.  It highlights a sentiment or – in the case of these stars it gives a special depth and sparkle to the die cut.
