I’ve made this card for one of my granddaughters who will be 8 very soon. She is having a woodland party so I thought a fairy on a toadstool, butterflies, flowers and a bee charm would fit the theme. I used Dreams and Wishes from Sugar Nellie stamps – I coloured the image with Copics, Promarkers and a Flexmarker and glittered the wings with Sparkles Icicle. The papers are from Nitwits and I distressed the edges . The lace, flowers, and pearls are from the Ribbon Girl and the bee charm and ribbon are from my stash. The butterfly border die is from Joy Crafts and I distressed it with several shades of pink and added Stickles Icicle. The sentiment is from LOTV.
I would like to enter my card into these challenges –

This butterfly border is definitely one of my favourite dies. I’ve used it on the side or along the top of a card and also I’ve bent it around a circle with an image. Mostly I distress it with several different colours. I think it gives elegance and interest to a project – or can be a fun addition for a little girl.
