Emily Showers of Love

We have a new challenge starting today at Fab’n Funky.     Our lovely Pat K is our host this week and she has chosen the theme –

Make it Square

Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Lacy Sunshine

with a prize of 3 digis of their choice for the lucky winner

Lacy Sunshine Stamps

You can see the cards my very talented team mates have made, as well as all the details of this challenge, on the Fab’n Funky blog.

I used the Lacy Sunshine image – Emily Showers of Love – for my card.

I coloured the image with Copics, cut around it with an X-cut circle die and frantaged the edge.  The paper is from Nitwits, the ribbon and lace are from my stash, the flowers and the heart pins are from Live and Love Crafts and the blue pearls are from the Ribbon Girl.   After I took a picture of the card I wondered if the navy flower and the ribbon were just too much the same colour.   It looked fine IRL – but not so sure on the photograph – as they seem to merge into one.

I would like to enter my card into these challenges –

  1. Aww so cute! Living the blue! Those flowers & pins are fab! Oh I see what you mean about the navy flower and bow, probably just as its a photo always looks different! Or maybe put the flowers on the opposite corner of the image? Still looks fab though!
