Hanging the Sleeping Basket

We have another challenge starting today at Fab’n Funky, and our teamie Jan has chosen the theme Baby.  Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies and they are giving the lucky winner a $12 gift voucher for their store.

A Day for Daisies very kindly gave the Design Team their choice of images to play with and here is my card using Hanging the Sleeping Basket available here.

Hanging the Sleeping Basket

I just love this image and it makes the perfect baby card – this time I coloured it in shades of purple, but there are so many other colours I could have used – it’s so versatile.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Copics and glittered the fairy’s wings with Stickles Star Dust.  The papers are from my stash – distressed at the edges.  The flowers, pearls and baby feet charm are from the Ribbon Girl, the sentiment is from LOTV and the ribbon is from my stash.  The butterfly die cuts are from First Edition dies and the trails were made with liquid pearls.

I would like to enter my card into these challenges –

  2. This is positively adorable, Alison! I agree with you, this would make a perfect baby card. I am going to have to add it to my ADFD collection! Love all of the extra embellishments, too. Thanks for playing in Challenge #160 at ADFD. Hugs, Cathy

  3. Aw this is so sweet Alison – I love the colours you’ve used and that cute LOTV sentiment (a favourite of mine!) – I got your email – thank you so much for the recommendation I’m working through my catch up week! – I’ll reply to you soon xx
