Harry Potter and friends

This is the card I made for my younger son’s birthday.  He is a Harry Potter fan and as he and his wife have just visited the Harry Potter Experience I thought I would make him a card on  this theme.  I used 3 images from Tiddly Inks, coloured them with Promarkers and Copics – fussy cut around them and stuck them onto acetate. The background was made by writing out some of the names of the spells from the Harry Potter books and                  photocopying them onto purple paper. The sorting hat is an image from Bugaboo stamps and the owl is Heidwig – which I found on children’s colouring pages on the Internet.   I added Glitter snow and Glamour Dust to his feathers and gave him googly eyes.   The hat and the owl are on strips of acetate so they dangle in front of the main acetate sheet.   I added green glitter to the ends of the wands – but have since been told it’s only the bad guys where the spells are green.  Oops – I must remember that in future!!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges –
