I can’t believe it is 2 weeks since I posted a card. We have had one of our sons and his little daughter staying with us, so I haven’t had much chance to get into my craft room. We had a lovely time with them and as usual I was sorry to see them go back to the UK.
I had a few card ideas running thru my head, so yesterday I had a go at making a backing paper. A while ago I watched a TV craft show, where they covered card with glycerine, before sweeping Distress Ink onto the card – which was supposed to give a smooth uniform effect – but that didn’t happen, so I guess I need more practise doing this. I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink and then embossed the card with a Couture Creations folder. I coloured the digi image – Hedgehog Flower – from Bugaboo stamps, with Promarkers and glittered lines on the flower. The sentiments are from LOTV and the ribbon, charm and gems are from my stash. I also dotted liquid pearls along the trail from the flying ladybird but you can’t see this very well in my photograph.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –
