Herbie the Bear

I don’t often make Clean and Simple cards – as it’s usually a temptation to add several     embellishments.   However I decided to make a CAS style Christmas card using a digi from Crafty Sentiments Designs.   The image is called Herbie the Bear and I coloured him with Promarkers and a couple of Copics.   I fussy cut around him and added traces of     glitter to the ground below him and a red heart gem to his letter.   I’m not sure if CAS cards have gems on them – but I couldn’t resist just one!!  The background is a snow effect mask, which I used as an embossing folder, but I’ve had it for so long I can’t remember where it came from.   The sentiment is from The Digi Stamp Boutique and the 2 small stars were cut with a Memory Box die.

I enjoyed making this card so perhaps I will think along Clean and Simple lines for some of my cards in future.
