On Thursday we went over to Mont d’Or to watch our 5 year old granddaughter have her last skiing lesson this week. We were amazed how well Sienna was able to ski down the slopes, after just 4 lessons, and she has really loved it. Afterwards we went for a pizza in Mont D’Or before driving home. To say the journey back was bad would be an understatement – it was very foggy in places and the rain was so heavy it was difficult to see the white lines on the autoroute, so we were all very relieved when we got home.
I wouldn’t normally have made a card while my son and his little girl were here, but since they were on the mountains for part of each day I made this one, using James – butterflies, the first time this stamp has been inked. I used several papers, so there were lots of layers, but I haven’t included a sentiment so I can choose the occasion to send the card later.
What I used –
Image – James – butterflies by LOTV – coloured with Promarkers
Papers from my stash
Butterfly cut from the Memory Box Kensington border – coloured with a Promarker
Polka dot buttons and twine from the Ribbon Girl
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –
