Hi again – I’m here with my second post today.
I love making baby cards and the idea of a white on white one was really appealing. I used the LOTV image – Just Arrived – and die cut around it with 2 of my new Majestic Squares dies. I really wanted to put a colour under the inner die – but I’ll try that next time I use it. I embossed the main background with a quilt effect embossing folder and added a Precious Stars die cut, which I glittered with Stickles Frosted Lace. I stamped the sentiment and the small sentiment tags with grey ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder and I dotted the stars on the circular one with liquid pearls. The small “flowers” on the ribbon are cut from the Frosty Border from Memory Box as I wanted something not too girly.
We have been having real problems – with our Internet dropping off, since May last year. Our Internet provider has sent us 5 new modems – none of which have helped at all. Last Friday a man from France Telecom turned up – before 8.00am – and promised to monitor things that day. It was a particularly bad day for our Internet, which can drop off around 8 times while I am trying to link a card to several challenges.
Tomorrow someone is coming from our Internet provider, and also a person from France Telecom – to see what they can do. Will we finally get a result??? We do hope so – nothing happens fast in France – but surely after 9 months it can be resolved. We live in hope!!
What I used –
LOTV image – Just Arrived – coloured with Promarkers Sentiments also from LOTV
Creative Expressions Embossing folder – Great Chain Wire
Dies – Spellbinders Majestic Squares Precious Stars from Memory Box
Ribbon and gems from my stash
