Ladybird Twins

Good afternoon –

We had quite a lot of snow yesterday – with several accidents on the autoroute near to us. Early evening, a snow plough went up and down the road outside our house – one of the advantages of living on the Route Nationale.   At times it was a white out – with near        blizzard conditions.   Today the road is clear but we still have a lot of snow in our garden.

While I was making this card I thought that Spring can’t be that far away.   I won this image several months ago, and at the time I thought it would make a nice Easter card – I love the look of surprise on the bunny’s face when he sees those two ladybirds.

I used papers with a Spring feel and added a frog charm, as I thought he might be in the garden too.   I got him in a bag of charms from a shop in Limoges, where I can get some crafty things, and when I’m there I pick up whatever I think might come in handy.   The clouds are from an embossing folder, which was free with a craft mag I bought last year when we were back in the UK – and I fussy cut around them and distressed the edges.

 What I used –

Digi image – Bunny and Friends – from San’s Design – coloured with Promarkers

Papers from Nitwits

Twine from the Ribbon Girl     Charm and gems from my stash
