Milly’s Winter Window

Millie---Xmas-Eve_

I started colouring this LOTV image – Milly’s Winter Window – in traditional red, but decided to try something a bit different.  Milly’s coat and hat are coloured with a carmine promarker and the details are done with Distress ink in fired brick.  The snowflake is a Joy Crafts design, which only arrived in the post yesterday, and I glittered it with stickles and glamour dust.  The corners are by Cheery Lynn, the sign and the tree are Marianne designs and I used frontage on the tree.  This is my first attempt at using frontage and I think I need more practise to achieve the desired effect.  The little bells and twine are from the Ribbon Girl and the small sentiment tags are from LOTV.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges –
