Yesterday was lovely and sunny and not nearly as cold as it has been. After all, considering it was minus 10 when we opened the shutters on Thursday, anything above zero is an improvement. But today it’s dull and feels really cold – a reminder that winter hasn’t gone away..!!
This little cutie is Molly Fairy, from Connie Fong, which I got before Christmas, but haven’t used until now. I coloured her with Copics and Promarkers, and glittered her wings and the hearts with Stickles Star Dust. I die cut around the image with a stitched die, added a Polkadoodles Ribbon Gift Frame around that, and another die from that set under the corner rose. The papers are also from Polkadoodles – from the new Helga Hippo range – with their edges distressed. The lace, flowers, berries and pearls are from the Ribbon Girl.
Molly’s hairband with the hearts brings back memories of when my daughter was about 8 and she had a hairband with large glittery stars on it – which bounced around when she walked.
