Moon Spell

Hi – I hope you are all managing to stay safe and warm in this snowy weather.   We have it in the middle of France too – with the prospect of it getting even colder next week.

I used a digi stamp – Moon Spell – from The Paper Shelter – on my card today.   I coloured the image with Promarkers and teamed it with purple and blue papers from my stash. When it came to framing the image I tried to use some strips of card I had cut using a punch, and then I tried cutting strips of card with fancy scissors – but neither worked.   I now realise I should have waited to cut the image card to size, so the pattern around it would match up at the corners.   I ended up backing the image on a plain piece of card. Well I have learnt something today – no wonder I have never used that punch before, but I must have another go with it soon, as it would give such a pretty edging.   After that I         added just a couple of simple embellies, so the image can stand alone.
