I thought I’d had enough of making Christmas cards – and then I got the urge to make one using this new paper. It’s from a set by Imagine That, which I got with a voucher I was lucky enough to win. I added Detail Sparkle to some of the snowflakes, cut a stitched circle from the middle and put a piece of snowflake embossed card behind. The image is one of the Mini Bears from Bugaboo, and I love the way he’s looking surprised to find himself sitting on the ice. I coloured teddy with Promarkers and Copics, added glitter to his hat and fussy cut around him. The snowflakes – glittered with Detail Sparkle – are from Joy Crafts dies and the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted stamps, embossed with silver embossing powder.
I was just about to publish this when we had a power cut. This often happens here when we have strong gusting winds – we were cut off for 3 hours yesterday evening, then it came back on – and went off again almost straight away. I hope those of you with snow aren’t badly affected – we’ve only had a few flurries – so far…!!
