Orange Daisy fairy

Orange Daisy fairy

This is the first time I have made a card for a colour challenge and I thought these colours would be a real problem for me.  I looked through my papers and came up with a couple which I thought would go together.    Obviously I wanted to include brown in my card and so I cut the dies in gilt card which I buy from a craft shop in Limoges – I go through a lot of it as it is very versatile. From then on I found it took off and I really enjoyed making this card.  I can’t wait for the next colour challenge.

What I used

Image is from the Daisy and Friends at Christmas CD – coloured with promarkers

Flowers are all from the Ribbon Girl – as is the small dragonfly charm and the button twine

Music stamp is from the LOTV Old Romance background bits

Dies are Memory Box lavish branch, Cheery Lynn corner and Spellbinders scalloped circles

Papers are from Raspberry Road designs

Doily, ribbon and gems are from my stash

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges –

Ribbon Girl colour challenge – peach and orange

Sparkles Monthly Challenge – fairies and /or butterflies

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge – winged things

Lexi’s Creations – Autumn colours
