Cosy Bear

I made this card using one of the new LOTV digis which can be overlaid onto the backing paper, retaining a white image, and the image can then be coloured.   I do enjoy fussy cutting but this saves a lot of time..!!  The  image is Cosy Bear, and I coloured it with Promarkers.  Santa with his reindeer and the stars are die cuts – with the stars embossed with silver.  The sentiment is embossed and the “snow” is Imagination Crafts Cracked Ice glitter.

Winnie Winter Partytime

This Christmas card is for our youngest granddaughter as her favourite colour is purple.  I used the Polkadoodles digi – Winnie Winter Partytime, and coloured it with Promarkers.  The die cut snowflake and star semi circle are glittered with Glamour Dust and the stamped sentiment is embossed.

Driving Along

Our eldest grandson was 17 on Halloween so I had to make his card with a car on it.  He was hoping to to save up for a car, but – like all the best laid plans – things didn’t quite work out, thanks to the lock downs etc. Not sure where it leaves his driving lessons either.  I used the LOTV image Toot Toot and coloured it with Promarkers.  The sentiment and cogs were die cut from bronze card and the backing paper is from Teen Boys at Whimsy Stamps.

https://asyoulikeitchallenge.blogspot.com/2020/11/favourite-his-or-hers-birthday-and-why.html  I usually find male cards difficult but since this was for a 17th birthday the image and paper elected itself, and these die cut cogs are a great addition to male cards with a mechanical theme.

Bears and Snowman

I have a Christmas card to share – using the LOTV image – Bears and Snowman.  I coloured the image with Promarkers, cut around it with a stitched square die, and placed it on one of the new LOTV Icy Snowflake Papers.  The fur on the bears’ hats and the “snow” is glitter from Cosmic Shimmer and the snow drops are liquid pearls.  The tree and stars are die cuts, glittered with Glamour Dust.  The sentiment from LOTV is embossed.

Halloween Peekers

I made this Halloween card for our youngest grandson, who is two, as I thought he would like the different images, and the bright colours rather than a darker spooky look.  I used Halloween Peekers from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured the image with Promarkers.  I distressed the background with Distress Inks, the sentiment is computer generated and the bat is a fussy cut item from Clip Art.  The eyes on the bat and the cat are tiny gems from my stash.
