Pirate card

pirate 5 birthday

I thought I would make a pirate card, as most little boys enjoy playing pirates.  I love these tones of blue and brown together, so I coloured the image to match.  The map in the background is a stamp I bought in Hobbycraft a couple of years ago, on one of our trips to the UK, and up until now I have never used it.  I stamped it on Antibellum paper and coloured some of the land areas with vintage photo Distress ink.

What I used-

LOTV image – Walk the plank – coloured with promarkers

LOTV sentiments stamps

Papers by Raspberry Road – colours changed thru MCS

Hobbycraft map stamp

Twine from the Ribbon Girl

Cardworks Twilight card candi

Computer generated number 5 – inked to match the sentiments and covered with glossy accents.

Button from my stash

I would like to enter this card into the Crafty Little Fairies challenge – numbered birthday     http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/a-numbered-birthday.html
