I don’t belong to the generation who have grown up with computers, and until 2 years ago I didn’t have a computer of my own.  I was “allowed” to use my husband’s – with the proviso not to cause any problems on it.  So for the last 2 years I have been learning on a machine which my son gave me – but since I didn’t know any better I thought the slow speed was normal.  I used to sit and file my nails whilst waiting for a website to come onto the screen, but, after taking an hour and a half to up load a card onto my blog I decided enough was enough and I would get a new model.  Last Thursday we took a trip to Limoges – our nearest big town – and I came home the proud owner of a new computer.  My husband installed it, and all was well until Sunday, when my mail wasn’t sending or being received.  Eventually, after putting in long hours – my husband, not me – and resetting something, it was working again.  After all the years when I lived without this technology those hours with no computer were like having a vacuum in my life.

This is the first card I have put onto my blog using my new computer – I had no idea it would happen so fast!!

Positively Pampered is a cute image from LOTV and I coloured her with promarkers in shades of pink.  I glittered her wings with Stickles star dust and icicle and glittered the powder puff with a glue pen and glamour dust.  The sentiments are also by LOTV.  I fixed 2 rows of Ribbon Girl lace on either side of a piece of white ribbon from my stash, and placed pearls along this.  The image is on a Spellbinders decorative oval die and I dotted liquid pearls around the solid edge.  The roses are from the Ribbon Girl and the pink ribbon is from my stash.  The corner dies are by Cheery Lynn.
