It’s very hot and humid here so we might be in for a thunderstorm – it’s certainly forecast. Not quite the weather to be thinking about Christmas crafting – but it was fun to make this door hanger.
I drew a door hanger shape, cut it out in Kraft card and covered it with tartan paper from Nitwits Twas the Night. The image is Santa Selfie from The Paper Shelter, which I got just after Christmas – this is the first time I have used it, but I’ve been lookng for an excuse to use it for ages. I cut out the image with an X-Cut square die and coloured it with Promarkers and Copics. The fur effect is Alleene’s Glitter snow with Glamour Dust sprinkled on it, and Santa’s beard is the Glitter Snow without any added glitter. The reindeer’s nose has Glossy Accents on it. The sentiment is computer generated and I frantaged around the oval shape. I used several die cuts on my project – Joy Crafts snowflakes, fir branches, holly leaves and berries from Leanne Creatief and pine cone from Britannia dies. The pearl is from my stash.
So far no thunderstorms – so we might just get to bbq and eat outside.
I would like to enter my project into these challenges –
