Sassy girl birthday

I have made this card as a Guest Designer for Love to Create on their birthday/anniversary week.  I was asked to use a Bugaboo digi stamp, so I chose this fun image, Sassy Girl Birthday.  I thought the image would look good in bright colours so I’ve gone for lilacs and purples – which I just love – and I added cerise to jazz it up.  I wanted to give the cream, oozing from the cupcake, some texture and sparkle, so I coloured it with an ivory promarker, mixed frosted lace Stickles with a multi crystal glitter mix and “painted” it onto the cream with a cocktail stick.

What I used –

Papers from my stash

Stickles and multi crystal glitter, liquid pearls, glossy accents on the tiny heart

La La Land heart banner and Spellbinders decorative oval dies

Heart button and twine from the Ribbon Girl

Ribbon from my stash
