Sophie in the Country

The clocks went forward last night and it will be April on Wednesday – so what has           happened to the weather??   It has been colder in the past few days than a lot of the time     during the winter – surely it will get warmer soon!!

A few weeks ago I was lucky to win several digis from The Paper Shelter in their weekly challenge.   I chose this image – Sophie in the Country – as one of them.  I coloured her with Promarkers and one Copic – the turquoise one.  I ‘ve seen that a good many crafters use Copics and I wanted to see what they are like – now I’m definitely going to invest in more of them soon.  I frantaged around the white card, on which I printed the image, and I embossed the plain turquoise paper with a chain wire embossing folder from Couture Creations.   The papers, lace and ribbon are from my stash and the flowers and pearls are from the Ribbon Girl.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –

Crafting from the Heart Challenge – Anything Goes

Fussy and Fancy Challenge – Girly

The Paper Shelter Challenge – Blooming

Love to Scrap Challenge – Anything Goes

Buckwells Crafty Challenge #6 – Flowers
