Summer Holiday

Hi to everyone on this sunny Wednesday  – I hope the weather is nice where you are.

Debby is our host for this week’s challenge at Fab’n Funky – and she has chosen

BINGO

Grid for mum

Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is

Dr Digis House of Stamps

You can see all the details of this challenge over on the Fab’n Funky blog, where you will also find the fabulous cards by the Design Team which will give you loads of inspiration.  We hope you will join in our Bingo challenge this week.

The Design Team were given their choice of images to play with and I chose Summer Holiday – which can be found here.   I used the horizontal line – sentiment, digital image and die cuts.

???????????????????????????????

I coloured the image with Promarkers and fussy cut around it.   I used a page from an old book of French road maps and layered it onto a paper by Nitwits.   The clouds are from an embossing folder (freebie from a mag) – I fussy cut around the edges and distressed them lightly with a blue ink pad.  The cogs are from an All Occasions die and the sentiment is computer generated.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges –

  1. What a fabulous card Alison ,you have put so much work into this. It is the little touches that make it so special and I love the idea of a map behind the image . jenny

  2. I love your card Alison and adding the map is a brilliant idea – I am wondering if it is of your local area?

Either way, it’s a brilliant idea for a really fun card.
