We’ve made it to the UK – it wasn’t a bad journey but it was still a relief to get to our son’s house. it’s lovely to see our little granddaughter again and this evening her cousin is coming for a sleepover. Then next week we’re going to Scotland to see our youngest granddaughter – I can’t believe she’s 6 months old now.
I hope this post comes up at the right time as I’ve scheduled it since I’ll be at my granddaughter’s Assembly when Winter Wonderland goes live. I love seeing all the children get their awards and special mentions – and it takes me back to when I was teaching – more than 10 years ago now.
I’m the host for this week’s Winter Wonderland Challenge and I’ve chosen the theme –
White on White
It’s a favourite of mine, although I know some of you will throw your hands up in horror. Please have a go and let us see what you come up with – think – embossing folders and die cuts and glitter, pearls and ribbon – and – well – anything else that’s white…!!!
We have a fantastic sponsor for our challenge – Bunny Zoes is giving the lucky winner a £10 voucher to spend in her store and as there is 30% off all products at the moment the lucky winner will get even more for her money…!!!
I began my card by using a Sheena Douglas embossing folder and a stars mask. I traced my glue pen along the ferns and sprinkled Glamour Dust onto the glue. I die cut fir branches and horizon pine trees and glittered these. I placed these on part of another embossing folder, where I had fussy cut out the star and glittered it. I added the Winter word from a Marianne die – also glittered. The pearls are from my stash.
I know it can be difficult to photograph WOW cards – but they do look fantastic IRL.
I would like to enter my card into this challenge –
