Winnie with Clock

I made this New Year card for a blogging friend – and she’s just mailed to tell me it has finally arrived.  She posted her card to me before I did, and her’s hasn’t got to me yet…!!!

I used a Winnie in Wonderland image from Polkadoodles, coloured it with Promarkers and Copics, and changed the time by placing a circle in the centre of the clock and making 2 new hands.  I die cut around the image with a square stitched die.  The clock paper is from the Winnie Wonderland Download and the blue paper is from my stash.  The ribbon, flowers and pearls are from my stash and the sentiment is from LOTV – I masked the Happy Christmas bit off it.

I would like to enter my card into these challenges –

  3. What a cute card, Alison…Love your previous one too. Sometimes I wonder about the mail too. Here in Australia deliveries can take an age, even in non festive times.

Thank you for your lovely kind words welcoming me back to blog land. Yes, the last few years have been cruel, but as they say “what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger”. 2016 was a tough one…adjusting to living in the retirement village after almost 40 years on a farm; working with the solicitor for the medical negligence case (still 8-10 months to go); and getting our son back on his feet after his terrible accident in late 2015. 2017 is going to be a good one though.

    Big hugs,
    Jennifer. xx
