Winter Window

Can you believe we’re into February now – and as it’s Wednesday there is new challenge starting over at Fab’n Funky, where Monika has chosen the theme – Birds.  Please use a bird image or use feathers (die cut, faux etc) on your creation.

We have a different sort of prize this time – it’s a selection of Christmas dies – but you can see all the details about this – as well as some fantastic inspiration from my team mates – on the Fab’n Funky blog.  We hope you will play along with us in this challenge.

I think this could be a first for me – but I made my card using a pre-coloured image from Polkadoodles Festive Christmas download.  I printed off the window image, and 2 robins which were included on the download.  I added Aleene’s Glitter Snow and Glamour Dust to the window, fussy cut around the extra robins and put them on it.  I distressed some of the stonework around the window with Tea Rose DI and added the window image to a paper from the same download.  The snowflakes are both Joy Crafts dies – glittered with Glamour Dust – the sentiment is a tag from LOTV and the ribbon and gems are from my stash.
